Project Manager 

This PM role will drive projects and products forward while maintaining a grasp on all the glorious details that need to be done and tracked on a day-to-day basis by members of the various teams. This role will also help Way Forth run discovery and scoping phases with new clients.

 

This role requires an understanding of software development and product development as well as experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks and experience.

 

This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, an excellent communicator, loves defining and refining processes, and a really good collaborator. We interact daily with teams from different organizations around the world including technical teams, executives, educators, and international field teams.

 

If you're not good with people, this is not the role for you!

 

Way Forth PMs are proactive drivers, so day-to-day responsibilities will include: planning and leading meetings, creating agendas, and managing tasks in the PM tools. 
 

Skills and competencies 
  • 5+ years in project management, including in remote team settings

  • Experience in product management

  • Proactive, clear communicator

  • Excellent writer

  • Strong ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple groups of people at various organizations all working toward the same goal

  • Experience with a wide variety of PM and other communication tools 

  • Experience with Monday.com a plus

  • Scrum master experience a plus

 

Along with flexibility, the following core competencies are a must for anyone who joins our team:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a ministry or faith-based non-profits

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects, programs, and products

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

  • Proficiency in project, program, and product management methodologies, tools, and software

  • Demonstrated ability to drive product innovation and deliver exceptional user experiences

  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on quality and excellence in program and product execution

  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving program and product objectives

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

 

Salary and benefits

This is a full-time W-2 position with a salary range of $87,000 - $93,000 for 40 hrs/week based on experience.
